Visit our workshop
Contact us by telephone or email and, if you wish, follow up with a visit to our Workshop to see the types of stones and memorials that are available.
Design and inscription
We work with you to consider the shape and size of your memorial and the words you would like to have inscribed in memory of your loved one.
Layout and quotation
Once you have selected the type of stone and the inscription of your choice, we will produce a layout for your approval, together with a quotation.
Placing an order
We ask for a deposit to be paid when you are ready to go ahead with the memorial and will be back in contact with you when we have taken delivery of your stone.
Finalising your requirements
A memorial can take on average 12 weeks to complete depending on its complexity. We will contact you before the inscription stage to check the final wording and layout.
Permissions sought
All memorial stones require permission to be sought from the cemetery or memorial ground in which the stone is to be placed. Ward Memorials will take care of this for you and the associated costs are included in our quotation.
Memorial fitted
Once permission has been gained and the inscription works completed, the stone will be professionally fitted by us, ensuring adherence to health and safety requirements and cemetery regulations.
Work complete
We will then contact you to confirm that your memorial is in place and issue you with an invoice to settle the balance due.
